Welcome to the Choral Department at Ellicott Mills Middle School. I am eager to begin my third year at The Mill and to embark on another fabulous musical journey together. I know that this year will offer monumental growth and success. Please check back frequently throughout the year so you can stay organized and informed, especially around concert time.

There are a few important changes this year; perhaps the most important are contained within the newly implemented grading policy which was created to better capture day-to-day student performance in the rehearsal setting. I request that all students please carefully read the Music Handbook found under the 'Handbook' tab and sign that you have read and understand all expectations for the 2016-2017 school year. This will count as your first homework assignment.

If you have any questions, as always, please feel free to reach out to me via email, which I check frequently and will do my best to respond to in a timely fashion.

With sincere gratitude,

Nicholas Emory Dogas
